As your Mortgage Advisor, Jeff Shields believes it is his job to become your trusted advisor. By informing you of the mortgage options available, from long/short-term investment plans, helping you minimize interest expense, and taxes, improving cash flow, etc.
Jeff Shields’s successful 21-year career in mortgage and real estate gives his clients an advantage. From processing, underwriting, funding, and now originating loans, plus time as a Realtor Associate buying and selling homes. Working in multiple positions within the industry, Jeff gained the necessary experience to effectively advise clients through the loan process with a thorough understanding of credit analysis, real estate contracts and timelines, conventional and non-conventional loans, and underwriting methods. When combined with his character and service-driven approach, it makes Jeff a valuable partner to homeowners/affiliates navigating one of the most important decisions of their lives.
Jeff is an Orange County Native, only relocating to San Diego during college, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from San Diego State University. When Jeff isn’t working, you’re most like to find him enjoying spending time with his wife and daughter, who’s active in soccer and gymnastics. Or, Jeff will be playing ice hockey, mountain biking, golfing, surfing, snowboarding, riding his watercraft, and just taking advantage of the outdoor activities Southern California offers us.
